Apple Brownies

I found this fun recipe that is a twist on traditional brownies. These are so good! They are kind of like apple cake, but with more of a brownie texture. They are moist with great flavor and wonderful with a little ice cream on top. A little carmel sauce on top of that, and you have a dessert everyone will love!

Apple Brownies

1 cup flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 cups apples, diced or chopped fine
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease an 11x7 pan. Mix flour, sugars, spices, and salt. Add chopped apples and toss to coat. Add butter, vanilla, and beaten eggs. Stir to combine. Spread into pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  1. I am not the biggest chocolate fan, but anything with fruit is too die for in my book. Thanks for this great brownie improvement.
