Minestrone Soup

Now you might look at this recipe and think "well, that's just glorified soup in a can!". And you would be right. The point of this recipe is definitely not any gourmet ingredients. I have 5 kids - gourmet to them is macaroni and cheese with an extra dash of pepper! The point of this recipe is that you can make it fast, and it tastes good, and is waaaaaaaaaay better for you than any fast food you may be tempted to pick up when you don't have a lot of time. If you keep the basic ingredients for this soup on hand, you will always have a quick go-to recipe when you need it. Yay!

Minestrone Soup

3 cans Progresso minestrone soup
1 can (28oz.) pork and beans
1 lb. ground beef
chopped celery, to taste (about a handful)
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. oregano

Brown the ground beef and drain. Add the soup, pork and beans, celery, Worcestershire sauce, and oregano. Mix and heat until heated through, or simmer for about 20 minutes if you have time.
