Crock Pot Stew

The weather is getting colder, so it's time to start getting out the soup recipes. Here is a great one! It tastes soooooo good, and you can put it together early in the day, and when dinner rolls around, it's all ready. I would say this stew yields about 8-10 cups.

Crock Pot Stew
1 3/4 lbs. beef stew meat
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. paprika
1 TBSP. Worcestershire sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 can beef broth
3 diced potatoes
4 sliced carrots
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/2 cup water
1 envelope beef stew mix (powdered, like McCormick)

Place meat in slow cooker. Pour flour over meat, stir to coat. Stir in the garlic, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, onion, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, celery, water, and stew mix.
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, or high 4-6 hours. I did not add any additional salt or pepper to this recipe, as I have made it before and it has come out too salty/spicy for our tastes. You can add those to taste after it's cooked. Enjoy!!
